David Amess, Member of Parliament for Southend West, was at Iveagh Hall on Friday 23rd October to support the Southend Licensed Taxi Drivers’ Association, who are collecting books to send to the Armed Forces in Afghanistan. David gratefully accepted the first contribution and praised the Association for their role in setting up such a wonderful project.

On Sunday 11th October, David Amess, Member of Parliament for Southend West, showed his support for the Annual Sponsored Walk in aid of Southend Hospital. David presented medals to the participants as they completed the seven mile walk from Uncle Tom’s Cabin to Chalkwell.
