Sir David Amess has encouraged residents in Southend to stay healthy and improve their mood by supporting a new national campaign inspiring people to do exercise during the Coronavirus outbreak.

On Saturday 7th March, Sir David Amess, MP for Southend West, attended Discover the London at The Forum in Southend-on-Sea to learn more about the London shipwreck and how to preserve it. The event was also attended by Southend’s Mayor, Councillor John Lamb, and Mayoress, Mrs. Pat Lamb.

£705,155 to tackle rough sleeping in Southend

Sir David Amess, MP for Southend West, has welcomed news that Southend-On-Sea will receive an additional £705,155 to tackle rough sleeping this year, to support some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
