Sir David plants donated tree in local park

Sir David Amess, MP for Southend West, was joined by the Mayor and Mayoress of Southend, along with local Conservative Councillors, as he planted a tree in Chalkwell Park.

Sir David celebrates 100 years of Essex Scouts

In 1919, the movement which was started by Robert Baden-Powell commenced its work in Essex. On Sunday 6th October, Scouts from across the County gathered at a Gala meal in Chelmsford to mark the centenary.
