David Amess MP visits The Southend Carnival Disabled Children’s Day at the Fair
During Carnival Week David Amess, Member of Parliament for Southend West, joined children from across Southend and beyond in visiting The Southend Carnival Disabled Children’s Day at the Fair.
Disabled children from around the area were invited to enjoy the run of the Fair for the day and had their choice of the rides from the dodgems to the ferris wheel. David kept the children entertained all morning and even tried out a few of the rides himself!
Speaking at the event David commented, “I am so pleased that the Southend Carnival Association has created this wonderful opportunity for the children of Southend who suffer from a disability to enjoy a great day out.”
