At the Conservative Party Conference, MP’s met with representatives from Carers Trust to discuss the research that the organisation has undertaken analysing the extent to which councils are meeting their new duties, created by the Care Act 2014, to prevent, reduce, and delay unpaid carers from developing a need for support.
