Cantare Ladies Choir held their summer concert on Saturday 24 June at Southend High School for Boys. The concert, which featured musicians from the Music Man Project, consisted of a number of musical performances from stage and screen. Sir David Amess, MP for Southend West, was at the concert to show his support for the choir and the local charity, the Music Man Project.
Speaking after the evening of music, Sir David said:
“Cantare Ladies Choir treated everyone in the audience to a wonderful collection of music tonight. Assisted by the amazing Music Man Project, who are an inspiration to us all, their performances were superb. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to these extremely talented singers and musicians this evening and I thank all those who helped organise this fantastic event.”
