Sir David Amess MP attended a special event with the British Youth Council on Tuesday 12 June. The annual Parliamentary event was held in the Speaker’s House in the Palace of Westminster and was organised by the council to celebrate young people’s achievements over the past year.
The MP for Southend West was delighted to attend and hear the work this charity does. Sir David learned how this charity – by young people and for young people – helps empower every young person to seek social and political change. The charity does this by bringing young people from across the UK to unite and have their voices heard.
