When the General Election is called the electorate will be faced with a real choice – they will either decide to return the Labour government or elect a new Conservative one. Since 1997 huge damage has been done to our country – this decline must be reversed. It is absolutely clear that Labour have no idea at all how to turn the situation around – it is only the Conservative Party who can transform the nation’s circumstances.

The state of the British economy is at the very heart of the problem. There is no real economic recovery. Unemployment continues to grow, inflation is rising and our balance of payments deficit is enormous. The debt that this country faces is now astronomical. No-one except Labour Party supporters has any confidence that this government is capable of getting out of the mess that it has got us into.

Public services are at breaking point and our position in terms of relations with other countries is greatly diminished as a result of government incompetence. As we emerge from this awful depressing winter it now falls to the Conservative Party to offer a new vision and a real future for us all.
