On Saturday 14th May, a Brexit Rally took place on Ridgeway Gardens in Leigh-on-Sea.
Local MP, Sir David Amess, spoke about his views on the United Kingdom’s membership of the European Union and highlighted the main issues that have encouraged him to campaign on behalf of the Brexit campaign.
Sir David was also joined by fellow Conservative MP’s Peter Bone and Tom Pursglove, as well as UKIP MEP Patrick O’Flynn, who all echoed his call for people to vote Leave on 23rd June, giving speeches to the Southend West residents who attended the rally.
The rally drew a large crowd as local people demonstrated their support for the Brexit Campaign and shared their opinions on why they believe that EU membership is no longer necessary for the UK.
