Sir David Amess MP enjoyed attending the Born Free Foundation Summer Ball at the Park Inn Palace Hotel in Southend on Sea on Saturday 23 June. The ball was held to raise funds for the international wildlife charity so it can continue to help wild animals, especially threatened species who are being driven from their natural habitats.
The MP for Southend West joined the event to support the UK charity and learn more about how Born Free works to stop animal exploitation, rescue animals from poor living conditions, and challenge things like the ivory trade – an issue that Sir David has been deeply involved in. Southend’s West MP was delighted to attend the ball and commends the work the charity does to support a cause he holds close to heart.
