On Sunday 20th May, Belfairs Park played host to families and their canine friends as the Belfairs Dog Show returned for another year.

Organised by the Essex Wildlife Trust, the event allowed dog owners to meet and socialise as well as take part in the 'Best in Show' competition. Local animal charities, including RSPCA South Essex, set up stall to offer tips to owners and promote dog welfare. Southend West MP, Sir David Amess joined in the day and met with volunteers, including Cocker Poodle Rolo the Therapy Dog.
