Belfairs Academy today received a set of excellent results, with the number of students achieving 5 or more A*-C grades, including English & Maths, rising to 69%, a 21% improvement on last year. There was an 18% improvement in students gaining A*-C in both Maths and English, and in the much talked about field of the sciences, 86% of students achieved A*-C’s in Biology, 90% in Chemistry, and 96% in Physics.

Headteacher Bev Williams stated, “A fantastic year for our Academy. We were graded ‘Good’ from Ofsted under the new framework and we are now celebrating our best ever GCSE results. The results demonstrate the sustained efforts of the students and the dedication of our teachers. Well done to everybody.”
