The Mayor of Basildon – Mo Larkin - (pictured centre) celebrated with Lord Peter (centre right), David Amess, Sally Carr - Southend Mayor (left) - and Charles Latham (centre left). Mayor Mo Larkin was recently honoured in the Queen’s birthday honours list and presented with the British Empire Medal.

Mr Amess was delighted to attend the reception, stating that, “It was a fantastic evening and I was delighted to meet with Mayor Larkin. She is a fantastic woman and the people of Basildon are lucky to have her!”
