On Wednesday 18th October, Sir David attended a parliamentary reception hosted by supermarket chain Asda.

At the event the MP for Southend West learnt about the work of the leading retailer’s community champions who liaise with and support the communities around their stores. Sir David also heard about the Asda Foundation, the charitable arm of the company, as well as learning about other partnerships and initiatives we have developed to help improve the lives of our customers.
