Sir David was delighted to attend the final open day for the current TOMA cohort in an art exhibition at Paul Robinson Solicitors on Saturday 21st October.
TOMA artists have explored Essex women through time using photography as a starting point. They set-up a make shift studio in Southend High Street where they spoke to and documented the experiences of women that they met. The trio have also utilised contemporary images and archival photographs together with discussions to create the body of their portfolios. The exhibition was a culmination of their hard work and an open to all discussion about Essex women – what the term connotes and what it means to live and work in the county.
