On Wednesday 9th May the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Parkinson’s launched their new report ‘Mental health matters too – Improving mental health services for people with Parkinson’s who experience anxiety and depression’.
Local MP Sir David Amess attended the launch to show his support for the ground-breaking report. The MP for Southend West was eager to hear the recommendations of the APPG and discover how best the lives of those impacted by these conditions can be improved.
The APPG event, which is chaired by Madeleine Moon MP, was also attended by Parkinson’s UK who worked with the group to develop the report.
