APPG on Illicit Trade Reception

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Illicit Trade held their summer reception in Parliament on Tuesday, 17th July.

Sir David Amess MP was delighted to attend the event in order to hear about the findings of their recent inquiry, which focused on the state of illicit trade in the UK. A report on the findings was launched at the reception, with Robert Jenrick MP, Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury, addressing attendees afterwards.

The Illicit Trade APPG exists to investigate and raise awareness of illicit trade in the UK, support closer working with parliamentarians to bring fresh impetus and ideas to tackling illicit trade and to highlight the impact on local businesses, high streets and communities.
