Southend Borough Council has now announced that construction work for the A127 Bell Junction improvement scheme shall commence from 1 September and continue until Summer 2021.

Commenting on Twitter Sir David said, "I do hope that the construction work on the A127 Bell Junction does not cause complete traffic chaos, as it is going to take a very long time!"
