Southend welcomes 73 new Police Officers

The 28th of June 2019 saw 73 new officers welcomed into the local Police Force following their passing out parade at Headquarters. The officers are being put to work quickly with 26 arriving in South Essex for their first day on duty set to be Monday 8th July.

Reassurances from Mid and South Essex STP On Southend Service Changes

Following a large number of constituent concerns about changes to local NHS services, Sir David Amess MP has received reassurances from Mid and South Essex STP that any changes at Southend Hospital will not happen until after the Health Secretary's referral decision.
