On Monday 24th February, Sir David Amess, MP for Southend West, attended an event in Parliament held by the charity Sense to hear about the work they do supporting people with complex disabilities and their families.
On Monday 24th February, Sir David Amess met the police dog who inspired Finn’s law in Westminster to show his support for Finn’s Law Part 2. This legislation will increase maximum sentences for animal welfare offences from 6 months up to 5 years to better protect animals from abuse.
Sir David Amess, Member of Parliament for Southend West, today visited Pankrac Prison in Prague to meet with a British Citizen, Mr Lakhbir Sandhu, who is currently being detained. Sir David was accompanied by Lakhbir’s father Kulbir.
On Wednesday 12th February, Sir David Amess, Member of Parliament for Southend West, held a meeting with Glyn Jones, CEO of Southend Airport and Alison Griffin, Chief Executive of Southend Borough Council.
