Policing matters

I have today spoken to the Southend District Commander, Chief Inspector Ian Hughes, concerning the complaints I have received about social distancing, anti-social behaviour, drug abuse and law enforcement. He has reassured me that all the points which I have raised will be fully investigated.

Sir David asks a question to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care

On Monday 18th May, Sir David Amess, MP for Southend West, asked Matt Hancock, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, about plans for a vaccine for Coronavirus and brought the House’s attention to the selfless work those at Southend Hospital and other health carers are doing in the commun
