Southend West MP speaks with residents in three wards

Sir David has continued his summer tour of the 9 wards in Southend West.

Between Monday 12th and Wednesday 14th August, Sir David Amess spent over 9 hours out and about in three wards – West Leigh, Blenheim and Belfairs. Speaking with residents, businesses and charitable organisations, Sir David used the opportunity to discuss matters of local importance as well as issues on the national stage. Throughout his time out and about, Sir David was joined by a number of local Conservative Councillors, all of whom continue to work hard in the interests of local people.

Sir David said “I host regular constituency surgeries and attend community events as often as I can. The Parliamentary summer recess gives me more time to spend out and about in the constituency which I represent. It has been fantastic to be in Belfairs, Blenheim and West Leigh these last three days, speaking to people about local and national issues that really matter to them.
