The charity works with over 300,000 young people and families each year, providing over 550 services designed to provide emotional and practical support.
Sir David said “It has been touching to hear the stories of some people who have been through so much during their childhood. Action for Children is one of countless organisations that works to support young people in our communities and I absolutely agree with them that children deserve a stable and safe foundation in life. Congratulations to Action for Children on 150 years of work, and I trust that the next 150 will be just as valuable.”
