Sir David visits Roots Hall to talk about apprenticeships

Southend West MP Sir David Amess visited Roots Hall on Tuesday 6th March to raise the profile of apprenticeships. The local MP met with Seetec and Southend United Football Club apprentices who were participating in an apprentice-MD job swaps for the day.

Sir David said:

“I am delighted to be able to support Seetec during National Apprenticeship Week. The job swap campaign is a great way to highlight the merits of apprenticeships to both leaners and businesses. It is imperative that we provide the skills needed to local businesses to ensure that they prosper and that young people have the opportunity to fulfil their potential.”
