The Southend West MP joined parliamentary colleagues and faith leaders at the annual House of Commons Chanukah Reception.
The event held on Monday 3rd December marked the beginning of the week long Chanukah festival and the lighting of the first candles on the menorah. Organised by the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the APPG on British Jews, the reception celebrated the contribution of the Jewish community.
Sir David said ‘Once again, I am delighted to be able to join colleagues and leaders from the Jewish community to celebrate Chanukah in Parliament. This is a wonderful time of the year for the Jewish calendar, and I wish all those celebrating a very happy Chanukah.’
