As part of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) awareness month, Sir David Amess MP back calls for greater awareness and support for the condition. On Wednesday 28th November, the MP met with those living with the condition to hear what more can be done.
An estimated 15,000 people are diagnosed with the condition every year in the UK. CRPS is a chronic neuropathic pain condition that leaves patients in excruciating pain. Many GPs are unaware of the condition, which leads to long waits for diagnosis.
