Maud Amess – mother of local MP, Sir David Amess - celebrated her 104th birthday on Monday 2nd May 2016.

Maud’s close friends and family gathered for a party at Nazareth House on Sunday to share the special occasion with her and Elizabeth Upsher very kindly performed a number of songs during the afternoon.

Sir David said:

“My mother is an incredible woman who has lived through so much in her lifetime. She very much enjoyed her 104th birthday celebrations and I would like to thank everyone who sent their good wishes.”
