David Amess MP joined the Hope and Homes for Children charity at their exhibition last week to show his support. Hope and Homes for Children gives hope to some of the poorest children in the world by enabling those who have found themselves in need to grow up in a safe and secure environment.
Hope and Homes for Children strengthen families and support children by ensuring that family based care is provided for a child when they can no longer live at home. In addition to this, Hope and Homes for Children work with governments and professionals the world over in order to ensure institutionalisation is a thing of the past.
David Amess MP said of the event, “This event is extremely significant as it highlights issues that people rarely take the time to reflect on. It is unthinkable that we should expect any less for children globally than we expect for our own children.”
