Southend West MP, Sir David Amess attended a parliamentary reception on Wednesday 25th October hosted by the Tobacco Manufacturers’ Association (TMA). The event was held in order to launch TMA’s new campaign to tackle the illicit tobacco trade.
Sir David Amess MP has shown his support for women with ovarian cancer across Southend by joining Target Ovarian Cancer at the launch of their state-of-the-nation Pathfinder study on Wednesday 25th October in parliament.
In the upcoming Budget, Crisis, along with the private landlord representative bodies, RLA and NLA, are asking the Government to commit £31 million per annum to fund the Help to Rent provision across England.

The Railway Industry Association held a reception in Parliament on Tuesday 24th October which Sir David attended. The organisation is the representative body for UK-based suppliers of equipment and services to the world-wide railway industry.
The Food & Drink Exporters Association (FDEA) represents UK food and drink companies both to the international buying community and to the UK government. Sir David attended their reception on Tuesday 24th October and discovered more about the membership of this organisation.
