Sir David Amess MP celebrated the launch of a newly published poetry book by Essex resident Sue Lesser. At the launch, on Sunday 18th November, the book was revealed and sold in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
Sir David Amess MP enjoyed the music at the South Essex Youth Symphony Orchestra’s charity concert on Saturday 3rd November. The MP was joined by local MP Mark Francois at the concert at Mill Hall, Rayleigh.
The Southend West MP joined National Coastwatch volunteers on shift at the Shoeburyness Watch Station on 2nd November. The Watch Station covers the Thames Estuary and the Shoeburyness East Beach area, and helps ensure the safety of all users of the coast.
Sir David Amess MP visited the BEST Growth Hub, to find out about how they are supporting and funding local businesses in Southend. The MP visited the Hub in the Hive Enterprise Centre on Monday 29th October.
Sir David Amess MP was delighted to join the Royal British Legion’s Leigh-on-Sea Branch at their ‘Last Night of the Proms’ event. The concert held on Saturday 20th October at the Moose Hall in Leigh-on-Sea, helped raised money for the charity organisation.
On Saturday 20th October, Sir David Amess MP enjoyed the music at Leigh Orpheus Male Voice Choir’s Annual Charities Concert. The annual event held in support of local and national charities, was held at Westcliff High School for Boys.
