Today at Prime Minister’s Questions Sir David asked the Prime Minister what the Government’s plans are to tackle homelessness.

 

Sir David raises issue of falling vaccination rates

On Thursday 14th of February, the Southend-West MP raised the issue of falling vaccination rates in the UK.

 

Sir David wanted to raise this important issue to ensure that people in the United Kingdom remain protected against preventable diseases.

 

Sir David backs carer recruitment drive

Sir David has joined MPs across the UK in supporting a national recruitment campaign, launching today, from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), to address the 110,000 vacancies in adult social care across England.

 

MP says time has come for our EU partners to be handbagged

Sir David Amess, MP for Southend West said today: “Having been in Parliament when the late Baroness Thatcher was the Prime Minister, I have no doubt at all that she would not have allowed the United Kingdom to be humiliated and as badly treated by our EU partners as is the case at the moment.

Kidney Cancer Awareness Week

On Monday 4th of February Sir David pledged to support Kidney Cancer UK’s campaign for research into a national screening programme for the early detection of kidney cancer.
